The Arnhem-Tibet Foundation

The Arnhem-Tibet Foundation has registered its goals and regulations at the notary's office Den Hartog/Heuff in the city of Arnhem. The goal of the Foundation is: To support local initiatives on the Tibetan Plateau, focused on a sustainable development of the (balance between) economical and social development, the natural environment and the culture. The activities are being focused on sectors like education, health care, cattle-breeding, agriculture, local industry and the economical self support of the inhabitants of the Tibetan Plateau.

This means that the Foundation is going to support all kinds of projects on the Tibetan Plateau. The Gesar Sherab School project of Lobsang Tsering is just our first project. Once we have built up a strong and reliable local network it becomes easier to initiate other projects. The main focus of the Arnhem-Tibet Foundation is the construction of buildings and the implementation of facilities. However, we want also to guarantee a good operational continuation, if needed in cooperation with other foundations or organizations.
After this first school project we intend to start similar school projects and projects for better health care, cattle breeding, and local industry on the Tibetan Plateau.
