The marathon from "the Veluwe" bikers from Rheden (NL) to Ronda (SP) over 3529 km was a big succes. A few bikers where sponsored for each km (mile) and the total amount we received was € 4.563,15 !!!

This is realy a great succes. With this amount and the support from the foundation "de Wilde Ganzen", we are able - as part from fase 3 - to install a complete kitchen and 2 more classrooms. A very big thank you to Bouke and Gomi Hornstra who come with the idee for sponsoring this trip. Also our compliments to the staf behind the website www.rhedenronda.nl. They did a great job behind the scene and a lot of people where enthusiastic to support the team members.

Also thanks to Wilfred Kok from the bikeshop Profile Riesewijk in Dieren. For a auction he started people could get a brand new bike and the total amount was also for the Gesar Sherab school. So if we need a new bike we now where to go in the future.
